The charming villa "Anthemis" pays tribute to the typical Istrian architecture in many respects. Built in traditional stone, the opulent architecture of the property is captivating, which not only conveys the impression of generous living culture on the outside. The core of the villa is the two-storey middle building. In the lower part, this structure opens to the right and left, thus opening up general living spaces and private bedrooms. This allows a travel group of up to 8 people to find individual retreat space in a spacious living area. Particularly to be emphasized is the arrangement of the altogether 4 fantastically equipped bedrooms, which are all provided with beautiful, warm wooden floors (underfloor heating) and whose walls are brightly arranged in light wiping technique. All rooms have air conditioning for pleasant air conditioning during the night. 2 bedrooms are accessible from the middle part of the building via a corridor. An internal staircase leads from the corridor to the master bedroom on the upper floor. The two bedrooms below share a shower room, which is accessed from the corridor. There is also a guest toilet on this level. In this respect, this sleeping area is very suitable for a family with 1 or 2 children. From both bedrooms you have access to a terrace. The Master-Bedroom in the same appealing equipment with en-suite bathroom and a great balcony enjoys a secluded location on the upper floor. From the balcony you have a great view over the whole property with pool landscape and into the surrounding area, which is characterized by the lush green Istria with vineyards and meadows. The special feature of the 4th bedroom - which of course does not miss the comfort of the other 3 bedrooms - is that it is completely self-sufficient and can be reached from the house via a terrace. This sleeping area has an en-suite bathroom so that it offers an appealing privacy that can be enjoyed either by a 2nd generation, a friendly couple or an au pair. The common rooms, which are located in the right wing of the villa, take into account the pleasant feeling of spaciousness. Here you will find the open functional areas, such as the living room with an open fireplace, from which the covered terrace with dining area can be accessed through large bar doors. In this area quarry stone masonry is visible, old wooden beam ceilings were exposed, on the floor there are easy-care ceramic tiles. This authentic character creates a great cosiness without being rustically overwhelming. Behind the living room there is an open plan dining area with a large table for up to 8 people and an American style kitchen. The cooking/dining area is separated from the living room by a few steps and is therefore somewhat elevated, which we find particularly successful in terms of design. Behind the counter, which is covered with a massive wooden plank, there is a cooking island with ceramic hob and chimney. The chic cream-coloured fitted kitchen in country house style is fully equipped (oven at a pleasant working height, toaster, coffee machine etc.) and blends harmoniously into the rustic style of the house. You will spend the most beautiful sunny days outside as a guest of this fabulous villa. It is particularly nice that all 4 bedrooms have their own terrace or balcony, in addition to the covered dining area in the living room. The garden area, which is privately protected by a small wall, is so spacious that you will also find a place for yourself under an old olive tree. The pool with outdoor whirlpool has a lush size of 10 m long lanes; you can rest on the comfortable wooden loungers with the apple-green textile layers - a color that fits particularly well in this location. The loungers are located on the wooden terrace adjacent to the pool, which seamlessly merges with the natural stone terrace at the house. Pure relaxation is offered in the great property "Anthemis". For change of the Chillen and relaxing provides a trip into the surrounding countryside, which has to offer some routistic attractions with only 16 km the distant Poreč. A trip to the medieval harbour town of Rovinj with its tranquil little streets and spectacular views of the surrounding island landscape is also highly recommended. Last but not least it should be mentioned that the hinterland of Central Istria is known for its best local cuisine. We wish you good rest and an exciting journey of discovery.
