Podgora, a beautiful resort with approximately 1,500 inhabitants, is located in the heart of Dalmatia, about 70 km from Split and 140 km from Dubrovnik, right on the Makarska Riviera. The outskirt of the area rises steeply to the Biokovo Mountains, where olives and wine grapes are grown. In this area all hikers will get their money's worth, there are well-marked trails that offer fantastic views over the coast.
